PRESENTATION AND PERFORMANCE
You can find the BLENDER MATS® individually, but the six molds kit (5 rigids and 1 flexible) is recommended to achieve a significant and correct stamping.
The performance of the BLENDER MATS® is variable, since the quantity of the impressions obtained will depend on the design, use and maintenance given to the product.
Hardness (ASTM D2240):
|Flexible mold||40-42 (Shore A)|
|Rigid mold||60-62 (Shore A)|
Area preparation: All surrounding areas should be protected from being stained by the dust resulting from the application method, it is advisable to cover with plastics.
Slab preparation: After applying all BLENDER COLOR HARDENER® or BLENDER RECOVER® and no longer bleed, complete the flatness to obtain a smoother surface, once this happens apply the BLENDER RELEASE AGENT® slightly over the surface by spreading it manually in ranges or similar volumes and always approaching no more than 16 in (40 cm) from the surface to avoid loss of product performance.
Stamping: Immediately afterwards place the selected BLENDER MATS® on the surface respecting the direction and order of the kit. Apply pressure evenly to achieve the correct engraving; remove the mat. It is recommended to use a Blender tamper to achieve a uniform and correct printing on the concrete.
The mat should not be in contact with aggressive solvents (Dimethylformamide, thinner, acids), if so, must be for short periods and immediately wash it with soap and water (It is recommended to use a plastic bristle brush).
After using the molds should be cleaned with soap and water to remove the remaining release agent, it is important to note that they should be thoroughly rinsed to remove excess òf soap.
The BLENDER MATS® do not pose any risk during use and / or handling. As a plastic material, avoid keeping it near sources of ignition.
Do not expose them directly to the sun’s rays or heat sources that could deform them. Store them indoors in a cool and dry place, so they can be placed on top of each other as long as it is on a flat surface that prevents them from bending or deforming.
